Gifts for Gardeners: Jewellery Gifts for Garden Lovers, Made in Cornwall
You probably know exactly where to find them: out in the garden, checking a new shoot, planning another border or making room for just one more plant. A good gift for a gardener celebrates that quiet, muddy-kneed happiness. This guide gathers our favourite garden jewellery, from charm brooches covered in tiny tools to bee and hedgehog earrings in hand-drawn glass domes, so you can find something that feels like them.
Our small family team designs every piece here in Cornwall, in a reclaimed coastguard lookout on Trevose Head, just outside Padstow. We are surrounded by sea, but our hedges are full of bees, blackbirds and wildflowers too, and plenty of our customers are as happy with a trowel as they are on the beach.

Gifts for the gardener who has every tool
Gardeners are notoriously hard to buy for. They already own the good secateurs, and they are fussy about their gloves. So give them something they would never buy for themselves: their favourite tools, in miniature, to wear all year round.
Gardeners Swirl Brooch (£25)
A silver-plated swirl brooch hung with little gardening charms: a watering can, secateurs, a spade and a flower. The brooch is 5cm wide, and each charm is around 2cm long, so it catches the eye on a coat lapel, a scarf or a well-loved gardening hat. Our components are lead, nickel and cadmium safe.
Gardening Bracelet (£25)
Three charms (a watering can, a daisy and a pair of secateurs) on a silver-plated bracelet. Choose a classic bangle, an expanding bracelet or a chain bracelet, depending on what they usually wear. It arrives in an eco-friendly gift box, ready to give.
Garden Lover Necklace (£25)
A daisy, a spade and a watering can on an 18-inch silver-plated chain. It is a gentle, everyday way to wear a love of gardening, and makes a lovely matching set with the bracelet.
Gifts for the vegetable grower and allotment lover
Some gardeners live for their dahlias. Others measure the year in first earlies, runner beans and the great glut of courgettes. If the person you are buying for has an allotment, a raised bed or a greenhouse full of tomatoes, these are for them.
Grow Your Own Garden Swirl Brooch (£25)
Handcrafted in Cornwall with five silver-plated charms: a carrot, garlic, a spade, a "grow" charm and a bunch of radishes. At 6 x 3 cm, it sits nicely on a jacket or a bag, and it is guaranteed to start a conversation at the allotment gate.
The Vegetable Growers Garden Brooch (£25)
Another one for the kitchen gardener: a 5cm silver-plated garden brooch hung with vegetable-patch charms, each around 2cm long. Pick this or the swirl version depending on whether they prefer a classic bar or a playful curl.
Meadow Sketches Snail Studs for the Gardener in Your Life (£20)
Yes, a snail. Every vegetable grower has a complicated relationship with them, which is exactly why these make people laugh. The waterproof, non-tarnish stainless steel studs sit on a hand-drawn scene of three carrots and two tiny hearts inside an 8.5cm glass dome. Because every backdrop is sketched by hand, no two are ever the same.
Gifts for the wildlife gardener
For a lot of people, the best bit of the garden is who visits it. The bees in the lavender, the robin that follows the fork, the hedgehog that shuffles through at dusk. We made our Shore & Meadow collection for exactly these people.
Meadow Sketches Bee Studs on Hand-Drawn Flowers (£20)
Little bee studs that "rest" on hand-sketched daisies, creating a tiny 3D garden scene inside an 8.5cm glass dome with a natural cork base. The studs are about 1 to 1.5cm, made from nickel-free stainless steel, and waterproof, so a spot of rain in the garden will not hurt them. Once worn, the dome stays on the windowsill as a small piece of botanical art.
Meadow Sketches Bird Studs on Hand-Drawn Branches (£20)
For the person who notices the birds as much as the blooms. Stainless steel bird studs perch on a hand-sketched blossom branch, presented in the same glass dome.
Meadow Sketches Hedgehog Studs in a Glass Dome (£20)
If they have ever cut a hedgehog hole in the fence or left out a saucer of water on a summer night, they will love these. The studs sit in a hand-drawn meadow of wildflowers and grasses, and each display is one of a kind.
Save The Bees Swirl Pin Brooch (£25)
Five silver-plated charms (a flower, a little bee, a flower stem, a bumble bee and a honeycomb) on our signature swirl pin. Handcrafted in Cornwall and measuring 6 x 3cm, it is a cheerful badge for anyone who plants for pollinators.
Flowers that never need deadheading
For the cottage-garden romantic or the person whose borders are always in bloom, choose flowers they can wear in the middle of winter.
Gold-Plated Flower Studs with Wildflower Blooms in a Glass Dome (£24)
Around 1cm across, with a warm gold-plated finish, these flower studs are set against hand-drawn wildflower stems on watercolour paper. A lovely choice for someone who prefers gold to silver.
Classic Bee on Flora Stud Earrings in a Bottle (£16)
Our best-value garden gift and a perfect stocking filler. Stainless steel bee studs of about 1.2cm arrive in a little 6 x 3cm glass bottle wrapped in hand-printed floral watercolour paper. It is the kind of small, thoughtful present that says "I saw this and thought of you."

How to choose a gift for a gardener
- Start with their kind of gardening. Flowers, vegetables or wildlife? Each section above matches a different type of gardener.
- Think about what they already wear. Brooch fans can pin one to a gardening jacket or a winter coat. If they never wear earrings, a bracelet or necklace is a safer bet.
- Check the details. Each product page lists the metal, sizes and presentation, so you can choose with confidence.
- Treat yourself too. Plenty of our customers are gardeners buying for themselves. You have earned it after all that weeding.

Designed by the sea in Padstow, inspired by Cornish gardens
Zamsoe has been making jewellery for people for around thirty years. Our studio sits on Trevose Head near Padstow, on Cornwall's north coast, and we spend a lot of time thinking up new designs on the coast path with our dogs. Cornwall is a county of extraordinary gardens, from sheltered subtropical valleys to wild clifftop hedgerows, and that mix of sea and garden runs through everything we make. Over the years, our jewellery has been sold in garden and heritage gift shops across the UK, and we still love designing for the person who would rather be outside with their hands in the soil.

Gifts for gardeners: frequently asked questions
What is a good gift for a gardener who has everything?
Jewellery is a great choice because gardeners rarely buy it for themselves. A charm brooch such as the Zamsoe Gardeners Swirl Brooch, with tiny watering can, secateurs and spade charms, celebrates their hobby without adding another tool to the shed.
What is a good small gift for a gardener under £20?
Our Classic Bee on Flora Stud Earrings in a Bottle are £16, and the Meadow Sketches studs (bee, bird, hedgehog and snail designs) are £20 each, presented in a glass dome with a hand-drawn backdrop.
Are the earrings suitable for wearing in the garden?
The Meadow Sketches studs are made from stainless steel that the product listings describe as waterproof and non-tarnish, so they cope with a shower of rain. As with any jewellery, we suggest taking it off for heavy digging.
Is Zamsoe jewellery made in Cornwall?
Yes. Zamsoe is a family business based in a reclaimed coastguard lookout on Trevose Head, near Padstow in Cornwall. We handcraft our charm brooches in Cornwall, and we draw every Meadow Sketches backdrop by hand.
Do you gift wrap and deliver in time for Christmas?
We gift-wrap our jewellery as standard, and we normally dispatch orders placed before 1 pm the same day. See our delivery information page for current options and Christmas timings.
